I was pleased from the beginning to the end of my roof installation experience. Everyone involved was very knowledgeable, professional and very accommodating. Stefan Eliopoulos was my go-to person when the job first started. I was able to contact him with questions and he replied quickly. Also questions regarding my gutters and down sprout. He walked me through the hold process. Chad Williams was the best Project Manager you can want. He was the last person for me to work with. He was extremely accommodating. Very knowledgeable of the roofing business. He explained what next to expect products was on time and the guys worked really hard. The day of installation of the roof was installed Chad Williams, Sr. Project Manager called before the installation to explain everything that was going to happen. He came out on installation day to be sure everything was going to plan, and he double checked the roof to be sure there were no issues. I had a few questions once the roof was installed, and he explained everything to my satisfaction. He made me feel like he was more than a Project Manager he went above and beyond what was expected. He took pride in delivering a great product to the us. He even returned to make sure my divertor was place on the roof correctly to my satisfaction. He explained when and how the Invoice and Warranty would arrive to me. I would highly recommend Shanco to anyone. He explained to me about Ridge Vent and Attic Vents. Neighbors like the roof.
My experience with Shanco began when a representative rang my doorbell back in the spring and asked if I would agree to a free roof inspection to check for hail damage. Shanco replaced several roofs in my HOA due to this. I had significant damage of which I was unaware, and the rep took several detailed photos and sent them to my insurance company. As instructed, I called my insurance company to request an inspection. My Shanco rep was present during the inspection. The inspector determined there was very little damage, which my predicted would happen. I received a paltry check for about $1,300. My rep told me to send an email to the company requesting a second inspection. A different inspector came out and my rep was present again. This time, the inspector confirmed significant damage, which my rep also predicted. I received a full-replacement amount from my insurance company to not only replace the full roof, damaged flashing and gutters but also to detach and reattach solar panels. The Shanco crew of eight men spent two full days replacing the roof, etc. Their work ethic and workmanship were top notch! They also did a fabulous job cleaning up the work site, as if they were never there! My Shanco rep is now the new general manager and stood by me throughout the entire process that spanned several months. I highly recommend this company! They are ethical, have a fabulous customer-centric mindset and are great with communication and follow-up. I am a very satisfied customer!
Shanco's Justin Vanegas rang my door bell and asked permission to examine my house for claimable damages from storms. After examination, he said that Shanco will be glad to work with State Farm, my home insurance, to see if apparent damages to my roof and my siding qualify for replacement. All I had to do was to give permission which I did, and Shanco will do all the rest. Shanco hired All Claims to file a claim with State Farm. After All Claims' and State Farm's adjusters completed their work, State Farm agreed to replace the roof and the siding. AMAZING. All replacement work was performed by Shanco. Shanco's new roof is beautiful and included a lifetime transferable warranty. The roofers were friendly and courteous. The venting system of the new roof cooled my attic so much so that I can tell the difference on hot days. The siding was also beautiful and had a lifetime transferable warranty. Unlike other vinyl sidings that I'm familiar with, these are insulated, made of virgin material instead of recycled plastic, and are hail resistant. The project managers , Bruce Lemon (roof) and Chad Williams (siding) were very helpful and did a walk-through with me after all work is done. Very professional. The end result was excellent. I just wanna take time to say I am so pleased with the crew from Shanco, Jonathan Andrews of the service team lead and Chuck Reyes … on replacing our window screens after several hail storms in our area .. Jonathan is awesome. He explained things he checked everything out after all the work was done. I just cannot praise these guys enough. Everyone involved did a excellent job. My roofing experience with Shanco Roofing was an extremely satisfying one. I was contacted beforehand and informed when the project would start and what to expect during the installation. The crews showed up when I was told they would and they got to work immediately. The project leader came by several times during the installation to make sure everything was going according to plan and to make sure the crew was cleaning up any debris that fell. The roof installation itself turned out very well and it looks great!
