My experience with Shanco began when a representative rang my doorbell back in the spring and asked if I would agree to a free roof inspection to check for hail damage. Shanco replaced several roofs in my HOA due to this. I had significant damage of which I was unaware, and the rep took several detailed photos and sent them to my insurance company. As instructed, I called my insurance company to request an inspection. My Shanco rep was present during the inspection. The inspector determined there was very little damage, which my predicted would happen. I received a paltry check for about $1,300. My rep told me to send an email to the company requesting a second inspection. A different inspector came out and my rep was present again. This time, the inspector confirmed significant damage, which my rep also predicted. I received a full-replacement amount from my insurance company to not only replace the full roof, damaged flashing and gutters but also to detach and reattach solar panels. The Shanco crew of eight men spent two full days replacing the roof, etc. Their work ethic and workmanship were top notch! They also did a fabulous job cleaning up the work site, as if they were never there! My Shanco rep is now the new general manager and stood by me throughout the entire process that spanned several months. I highly recommend this company! They are ethical, have a fabulous customer-centric mindset and are great with communication and follow-up. I am a very satisfied customer!
